About the App
How do I start the applicability check?
Open the app and tap "Start check" or the check mark icon in the bottom navigation. The check guides you through 8 short questions about your company.
How long does the check take?
The applicability check takes about 2 minutes. The maturity assessment (50 questions) takes about 15-20 minutes but can be paused and resumed at any time.
Can I repeat my analysis?
Yes, you can repeat the check at any time. Go to Settings and select "Reset data".
Privacy
Is my data stored on a server?
All your analyses and results are stored locally on your device. There is no server transmission, no tracking by default, and no analysis of your input by us. Purchases are handled through the App Store.
What happens if I reinstall the app?
Since all data is stored locally, it will be lost upon reinstallation. We recommend exporting important analyses as PDF beforehand.
Does the app require an internet connection?
No, the core features (check, analysis, checklists, knowledge hub) work completely offline. Internet is only required for purchases.
Pricing & Tiers
What does the app cost?
The applicability check and basic assessment (3 categories) are permanently free. For the full analysis, there are two tiers: Clarity (launch price: EUR 9.99, then EUR 14.99) and NIS2-Ready (launch price: EUR 49.99, then EUR 99.99). One-time payment, no subscription. Launch prices valid until 30 April 2026.
What does each tier include?
Clarity unlocks all 10 categories, the full gap analysis, and cost estimation. NIS2-Ready additionally includes audit trail, NIS2-Ready certificate, registration assistant, incident assistant, management training certificate, and unlimited PDF exports.
Can I cancel a purchase?
Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store. For refunds, please contact Apple within 14 days of purchase.
About NIS2
Is the check result binding?
No. The app provides initial orientation but does not replace legal or professional advice. For a binding assessment, consult a lawyer or IT security consultant.
What should I do if I am affected?
1. Register with your national authority (check your country's deadline). 2. Complete the maturity assessment. 3. Work through the generated checklists. 4. Document your measures.
Where does the information in the app come from?
All content is based on the EU NIS2 Directive (2022/2555), national transposition laws, and recognised expert sources. As of: March 2026.
Troubleshooting
App is unresponsive
Close the app completely and restart it. On iOS: swipe up. On Android: close all apps.
Purchase not recognised
Go to Settings > "Restore purchases". If that does not help, contact us with your purchase confirmation.
PDF cannot be opened
Make sure you have a PDF viewer app installed. Most devices come with one pre-installed.
